I met Derek from Defeater on Friday and he agreed to play a couple of songs for Compass and Square. He performed two songs for Defeater entitled "But Breathing" and "I Don't Mind" as well as a song from his solo project Alcoa named "I Don't Feel Welcomed Here Or Anywhere"

A full-length debut album of his solo project will be released on Bridge9 this Fall.

I need this song more than ever, I'm hoping that what I'm going through gets better. It has to. I know it can still work, I love her so much and she has to realize that we can't be apart and im not going to sit around and let that happen.
