Josh Turner performs 'The Star-Spangled Banner'

Grammy-nominated country music singer Josh Turner performs a special version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in honor of the song's 200th anniversary.

He performed a full show at fort bragg NC on independence day 2014 with digital screens and everything back when I was enlisted. This same video was played before they came out and opened up with backwoods boy. First time seeing my favorite country artist and I didn't even have to buy a ticket!

Very timely...earlier today I watched 30 versions of our National Anthem sung by. Much to my surprise, I thought an a cappella version by Diana Ross was the absolute best!! Josh Turner version would be my #2. Wonderfully performed!!
