No reason to upgrade my vertix at this point. Still getting a pass through and killing deer. That’s what I love about Mathews. I purchased my vertix with ten years in mind. My old switchback is still selling for $400 plus on eBay.

The ATA has gotten about as short as possible and now the BH is down to about 6 inches, there isn't much more room for speed gains. They can go a little more aggressive on the cam profile but that usually gets a lot of complaints. It's hard to justify buying a new bow every year when there isn't much of any real change.

how come the v3x 33 isnt in the line up? id be keen to see how that stacks up to all of those bows

Fantastic, the V3²⁷ test is without a doubt the best and fastest.

Cool comparison and great to have it all written out at the end. I would have loved to see the VX3 33 but understand you can't have all the bows! Thinking about upgrading my V3 31 because I am maxed out on the draw and the string angle is just not very nice.

Pretty much sums it up pick which one fits your body size and hunting style and go with it. I loved the vertix when I tried it out but bought a different bow that year. Then had the VXR 28 didn't like the draw cycle or string angle. Now I have the v3 31 and I'm spending the money to upgrade the accessories planning on rocking it for a few years.
