For those having issues with the overlay folder not being generated, you most likely forgot to do the shift-click step in the Tile collection and management window. It's actually two clicks here. Shift-Click then Double Click.

Great video and easy to understand. But, the Ortho4XP_overlay folder did not appear in the Ortho4XP folder after the batch build. Any ideas?

you dont have to adjust quality around the airports as it is already configured in the settings. You just adjust the distance from the airport you want enhanced zoom level to begin

Thanks for the tutorial. The main disappointment for me in XP12 is the performance. Framerates are far below XP11, even on high end hardware. In terms of visuals I find it to be much better than XP11, though there are glitches with 3d trees and clouds.

Which of the settings for Ortho tiles in XP-12 needs to be set differently as opposed to XP-11, in order to make use of the new water functionality in XP-12 as concerns sea planes and the water interaction with the shore lines?

I thought we will have a such Ortho textures implemented by Laminar Research when X-Plane 12 has been released. For me XP12 sometimes looks like XP11 on good mods instead of good looking next-gen simulator. I'm glad we have a such tools from modders but that's not what I paid for to Laminar Research. By the way great tutorial, thanks.
