Maryborough (Queensland) is a historic portside town and also the birthplace of Pamela Travers (author of Mary Poppins). The story of Travers being persuaded by Walt Disney to allow the 1964 film rights to go ahead has been re-told in the recent feature film 'Saving Mr Banks'.

This video has been launched by Fraser Coast Opportunities to celebrate the region where the Mary Poppins inspiration and magic began. Boasting beautiful scenery, the indoor location of this clip has been shot in the original house of Travers birth.
