Fix Error code 0x80070002 when upgrading to Windows 11
Step 1) Run Update Troubleshooter
Step 2) Use Windows 11 Installation Assistant
Step 3) Reset Windows Update Components
SC config trustedinstaller start=auto
net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop msiserver
net stop cryptsvc
net stop appidsvc
netsh winsock reset
netsh winsock reset proxy
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /CheckHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
Sfc /ScanNow
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start msiserver
net start cryptsvc
net start appidsvc

Right-click on the Wufix file and click Run as administrator
Restart your PC
Step 4) Use Media Creation Tool

want to thank you for making this video I was worried before coz for the last two months I wasn't been able to update my PC for this reason but you helped me out.
For me, the process I chose was step 3 and 4 .

0x80070002 error should be rectified by a clean install via USB or ISO file installation that would be step 4 in the above video. I had a similar error on my Dell Laptop but resolved it via a clean install.

Thanks for making these videos, I appreciate that you want to help us. I also tried those way but when it goes to install the updates it fails at 3%, then it undoes the changes and Windows 10 starts again. The installer says that error 0x80070002 - 0x20007 occurred. It seems that it is a driver issue and I looked for a tutorial for that using CMD but it fails exactly the same and with the same code. By the way, Windows says that my computer is 100% compatible with Windows 11, which makes it more frustrating. My laptop is Asus Tuf Dash F15 ... I think most of the people with this problem are from Asus ...
