Love the videos, and they are very helpful because for me theory is one thing, but You need to practice Labs to remember different commands, plus seeing how the network actually works in packet tracer can open your eyes.
Btw, it`s like You said, you need to practice more then once for your brain to remember-it`s like learning to ride a bike :)

This is a tutorial on configuring routers in CCNA packet tracer. Steps include connecting routers, setting hostnames, enable passwords, and secrets.












- Download lab file from the link in the description
- Perform configurations on both routers for practice

- Attach cable to Gigabit Ethernet 0 0 interfaces on r1 and r2
- Access global configuration mode to set hostname according to network diagram

- Step 2 is to change the hostname to r1
- Step 3 is to set the enable password to Cisco and enable secret to CCNA for added security

- Enable secret encrypts password by default
- Enable password is effectively useless for privileged exec mode

- Enabling password encryption is done in global configuration mode using the 'service password encryption' command.
- The 'enable secret' password is encrypted without using the 'service password encryption' command.

- Enable secret uses type five encryption while enable password uses type seven encryption
- Save current running configuration to startup configuration using 'copy running-config startup-config'

- Copy running-config to startup config with 'copy run start' or 'copy running-config startup-config' command.
- Use 'write' command to save current configuration to startup config. Both methods achieve the same result.

- Successful saving of changes to configuration
- Confirmation of changes with show startup config command

Sir, Your lesson are good, in the lab, resolution is very high required to watch, if you record in medium resolution or less resolution. Even in mobile phone user can see clearly (I mean your screen resolution not recording quality)

enable password is useless whenever I use secret password but its weird for me when I do the same things in the video and after I come back to exact mode start using comand en and seen the password and after that I entered the secret password its doesn't allow me to log into router. and I checked do sh run everything I've done set it.

8:15 you're not allowed write and wr type commands on the ccna! Because they are old IOS versions commands. I think even the do command from conf t is not allowed. Just stick to traditional pathways during the exam.
