A great & wise russian leader Putin. God bless Putin & Russia. Cannot say the same for warmonger US Administration & its presidents since WWII. This nation needs a revolution for political reforms to ensure no " idiots" is allowed to stand for political office election - President, Congressman, senators, etc

I wonder what Putin was thinking while he was standing there.

Remembering a leader who went through difficult times does not detract from any merit.

Sorry guys, I cannot forget the Pizza Hut commercial. It is still on YouTube. This is an embarrassing moment for the current president of Russia just for that commercial. Also, instead of these flowers, it would have been more proper to bring a pizza to the deceased inside a Pizza Hut box. As for the cross he made at the end, I wonder who gave him that advice. I mean, he was not a child when the USSR collapsed. A former HGB officer making his cross is ridiculous. The Soviet Union is no more. The Russian Federation is a bad imitation of the USSR. They will not win in Ukraine.

🇬🇧Let us put our differences aside a moment. I would like to pay my greatest respects to Mikhail Gorbachev. A brilliant leader who did his best to bring Russia and the West together and was instrumental in reducing the nuclear arms race. God rest your soul Mikhail from a humble English electrician.

Putin, stands on the shoulders of Great Men like, Mikhail Gorbachev. I do know, a lot of romantic Russian people blame, Mikhail Gorbachev for the collapse of the Soviet Union, but as far back as the 1960, Soviet intellectuals were aware that the Soviet Union had serious structural and economic problems, which if not corrected would lead to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Mikhail Gorbachev brought in those reforms, but it was too late to save the Soviet Union.

They asked Gorbachev once what advice he would give Putin - his response was that Putin doesn't need his advice, he knows everything already.

To me, as an outsider, it is sad that so many Russian detest Gorbachev and seem to blame him for the entirity of the inevitable collapse of the USSR, the damage of which he tried to minimise. As an Orthodox Christian nation, surely the people of Russia should forgive him for his mistakes as we hope to be forgiven when it is our tutn to meet our Maker. Gorbachev was lied to and deceived by western leaders and he could well be blamed for being so easily duped, but the US/UK deep state was already planning to plunder Russia's resources and Yeltsin was their man. However, to me, Gorbachev showed us in the west what could be, and although he was unable to make it happen, we should at least respect the man for what he tried to do as Putin has, here, so aptly demonstrated.
