I love love love when you read Lovecraft. I work nights, and i work from home. I fall asleep to it during the day, and then, while i work all night, I'll listen to it all again

I recently discovered that H.P. Lovecraft’s favourite story of all time was a novella called ‘The Willows’ by English author Algernon Henry Blackwood. Never read it myself but if anyone is interested it could be something to look into.

LETS ANOTHER BANGER TO ADD TO MY LOVECRAFT PLAYLIST! i always reccomend your readings to friends of mine who want to get into Lovecraft but find it a slog to actually read through (which i also do, lol) and your audiobooks are widely beloved amongst us! you have a great voice for them. i’d love to hear any more renditions of other classic weird tales. i also adore your reading of Psychosis!

One of my favorites, and arguably one of Lovecraft's best. That sudden left turn in the last third of the story, when it becomes clear how truly Inescapable Derby's fate is... fucking chills.

The handwriting aspect mentioned made me remember when people wrote actual letters in cursive. You could tell so much of a persons personality and mood by their writing style. The rounded bubbly alphabet of young women, the jagged instructional notes from a supervisor or how the shaky scribbles of the aged progressed. It was an art that everyone practiced and it conveyed so much more than the words they gave. I have no idea how younger people can even have a signature without knowing cursive. I’m 50 so it’s not like it’s some forgotten age..I mean not yet.

Nobody adapts SCPs to audio form like you do, you have a wonderful talent for translating the text to a spoken narrative. And yet, it's the audiobooks I truly most enjoy.

I'm so glad you've been able to keep working on them through all the other changes, I know they take a lot of time in the background between other videos and we all really appreciate it.

At work, 3am, night shift at a deserted gym, alone. This is perfect. Happy Halloween 🦇

Asenath heard "gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss" and picked a completely different kind of gate.

How can I enjoy scary movies so little and just adore the audiobooks? Oh well, one more idiosyncrasy for the pile! And now, for the actual point of the comment (drum roll please) another great video to get me through these long ass third shifts! How likely/unlikely might a deeper dive into Cthulhu mythos be? I was around for the old playlist but man, i know some longer deeper dives could be done and I'd very much like to hear it done with your voice and style and outlook. But even if not, thanks for the great content you've made so far, it's more appreciated than I can convey in a YT comment.

Heck yeah!
When I first read this story, I didn’t think it was particularly scary or interesting. But some years passed and I come to appreciate it more and more.

I must say, that's a fire sentense to start a story. Hard to think of something that grabs your attention better
