Movies That Are Better On A Rewatch

Who doesn’t love watching a great movie a second time? Well how about some movies that actually get BETTER on the second viewing?

Most of these movies have intense plots, mysteries, plot twists, or even just some hidden jokes and Easter eggs that you might miss the first time. Watching them again with the knowledge of a first viewing gives you a chance to experience it all over again with different eyes, which is really cool!

I think Big Lebowski took a more than just a rewatch. It's a great movie, but I was a bit too young to truly understand and appreciate the comedy in it at first... But I will tell you what did get better with a rewatch: War For The Planet Of The Apes. I already thought it was pretty good, but I didn't know if I liked it as much as Rise. I gave it another go a couple months later to show my wife (she likes them emotional animal stories), and I'll admit, not only is War now my favourite of the Caesar trilogy, but despite me knowing the ending by now, I almost came close to shedding a tear as the film closed. It's one of only 3 movies to almost make me cry...

Basically movies that once you know the twist its fun to go back and watch how the twist was setup from a different viewpoint and how the characters were behaving in the way they did which you wouldnt have know the first time around.

Prestige is worse on a rewatch.
I believe I got everything I needed from watching Longlegs once.

Other movies I haven't seen, but The Village looks good. Do not plan on seeing Inside Man despite trying to watch it several times before, but now having seen Dil Se the taste the Spike Lee joint gives off kind of disgusts me.
