when i was like 8 i saw ponyo, for years i couldn’t find reference of it anywhere. it seemed like a total acid trip but in the best way possible, it inspired me to become a marine biologist. years later as an adult i found out what gibli movies where. they really are magical to kids who only grew up with western animation
