Jeez😮 I’m a metro by t mobile customer have been for years I have the $50 unlimited plan. And I don’t get speeds that high. And on average I use 145-150 gigs of data a month sometimes more because I watch Pluto tv and listen to streaming audio and a lot of downloading. I’m glad I saw this was going to switch to save 25 bucks not anymore

You're mixing up bits and bytes. Infinite offers 512KiloBITS per second after you hit 35GB. You have to divide that by 8 to get the number in kilobytes. 512/8 = 64kB. It's usable for all but video really although some larger websites will take awhile to load.

For reference, a service that offers 128Kbps throttled speeds will only get 16kB per second so Boost is in the upper echelon of offers from an MVNO here. Metro is owned by T-Mobile so they can afford to have true unlimited data. When Dish moves Boost Infinite customers to its own network, I would expect them to offer much higher or no caps as well (which they already do with Project Genesis).

As another comment said, you’ll do well to learn the difference between bits and Bytes when talking about internet speeds. There are 8 bits in a Byte. kB is kiloByte so you’d multiply that by 8 to figure out the kilobits.

Your 62.7 kB/s speed result equals just slightly over 500 kbps so they are giving the throttled speeds advertised.

Hey I'm getting mixed information or maybe it's not processing well with me with ping rate upload download speeds I'm in Central Florida. Anyway been with MetroPCS or fifteen years I don't really like switching. But boost infinite looks like a good deal now are these upload and download speeds and ping rate which I don't know anything about doesn't matter where you are? And I'm sorry I sound like a neanderthal tech guy but my strength is in construction how to build a house and stuff like that tech not so much so I'm trying to YouTube search ping rate upload download speeds doesn't really freaking make a difference I do watch a lot of YouTube videos when I'm driving around also listening to music on YouTube through my car or Bluetooth so I don't know if that means anything I just don't want to have a slow freaking phone. Boosted Lynette I have two phones 50 bucks I have two phones supposedly unlimited with MetroPCS 40 bucks each 80 bucks. Anyway sorry for the long boys text any type of help. Read the fine print speeds may be reduced do to congestion. After 35gb, you are no longer in premium. You are now put at the bottom of the list. But if you call them, tell them the speed issue, and they will sometimes reset your data. Also, man, google Remove remove speed throttle on phone

Boost infinite unlimited with cap like metro. Boost is better deal, international call to 80 countries, data roaming and voice Canada and Mexico for so cheap. Its is so far best deal in market
