For people who are saying they're seeing this for the first time - I can understand, because many of our rituals and practices have faded away through the years now. But this is a very old and beautiful practice in many of the Punjabi and Himachali weddings😊
I love how finally so many things are coming back. Weddings now are a maximum week long function. Earlier weeks and months went into the preparations with different rituals each day and every family member played a pivotal role in different rituals. I love to see traditional "old school" weddings where makeup, clothes and even the jewelry was designed and made in a particular manner only meant for weddings.
