i had a duel with a gumpert Apollo... don't remember the exact race but it ended on the two big straights with the satellites and airfield - and we literally t i e d

I had a similar experience. Im in a race with one other guy. We were racing to find out which was the true fastest hyper car(Mclaren F1 vs Gumpert Apollo). We were on the Razors Edge race on the freeway. I chose the Mclaren, so I had an instant advantage as my car was faster. However it all changed as we got past South Bay Turnpike. And it came down to the dash up Hope Canyon Freeway. We were basically going toe to toe with me a couple car lengths behind. In the final quarter mile I took the path through the tunnel in oncoming traffic. Didn't hit anything. Used my nitrous on the final 0.1 miles. He was still ahead, but I was able to close the gap and overtake the Gumpert just before crossing the finish line. Had me going crazy at the finish line as I saw "finished 1st" appear on the screen. Closest finish ever
