Take a gentle boat ride on the Mai Ping River and see a different side of Chiang Mai. There are various River Boat companies and time length excursion ends, ours was at a restaurant, where we were told the “snake scene” of Rambo 3 was filmed, other river boat rides lan at a local farm where traditional methods are used to make your bowl of 'khao soi' noodles for lunch.
Some boat rides offer pickup and drop-off are included.
Have a relaxing ride on a longboat and see Chiang Mai life from the water.
Of course, Chiang Mai is still recovering from the epidemic, as usually these places are busy with tourists.

We used the Mae Ping River Cruise which is next to a temple area, and it was about a 2.5 hour tour with about a half hour for lunch
