So these creationists disagree with evolution, but then use a demonstrable element of evolution (genetics) to prove the existence of some characters in the a work of fiction and mythology? Just astonishing.

That feeling of certainty is real, a powerful appeal that overrides robust epistemology for some people.

I grew up being taught that the certainty of our faith is such a gift, we don't have to appeal to opinion, or experiments, we KNOW!

There is a significance to Darwin saying there was only one human race. Racism is a classical defence of slavery (including in the Bible). Darwin was strongly anti-slavery and also anti-racist. Maybe this is in part due to his most significant early mentors, who taught him taxidermy, and thereby a great deal about the morphology of animals, was John Edmonstone, a freed black slave.

Aron, i have been preaching "pun intended" your work for the last 8 years.. The phylogeny challenge is my favorite go to for all creationist arguments. I love it that you are fighting ignorance to this day.. You truly do have an amazing control for patience that I just do not possess. This is my first time back on your channel in 3 years. The three daughters-in-law hypothesis for three races is pretty creative. One went to Africa, one to Asia and one to Europe! Each had 100s of children, who had many 1000s. Some went to the Americas, others to Oceania, all the while having millions of kids.

Um, so what about the fourth node at the bottom of the tree? Seems like there's only a single line connecting it to the other three arrowed nodes so by their logic that should be person too - maybe one of Noah's sons had a secret mistress that no-one talks about?

I was reminded recently of a somewhat joke that a fellow non believer told me years ago.. He said, how do you know when a creation apologist is about to tell a lie or untruth??? They open their mouth.. LoL 😆
My usual go to against apologists is getting them to talk about how the bible is inerrant or unrefutable ..that all answers to everything is in that bible..you just need to know how to look
.all that stuff.. get them to say something along those lines.. and then say to them...then the bible doesn't need you to speak for it.. it does not need your apologetics. It can do it all on its own. If it needs you to defend it to do its job for it..then it isn't what you say it is. Let the bible or your god do the work its supposed to do..go sit down and let it do it.. otherwise stop making claims it cc an do all of this stuff or has the answers or whatever.
