Went to a shelter for a field trip. People said 1 cat didn't like anyone. I took the challenge, sat in the chair in the corner and waited. Cat eventualy jumped up and sat in my lap. Everyone was impressed. It works 100%

This is so true! I went to a cat cafe a few months ago and was distracted talking to my friends i hadn’t seen in a while so i wasn’t paying much attention to the cats. Suddenly one of them laid on my lap and stayed there for the duration of my visit (around 1h30). He was also the grumpiest of them all and wouldn’t let anyone pet him. I felt so chosen. 😂

Cats do what they want to do in their own good time. They are the ones in control and they love to remind us of that fact.
