I felt we didn't get the VAR decisions tonight but when I watched it back the only one I felt wasn't correct was the Hinshelwood challenge. Looked like a pen to me and he would have been off. We didn't score when we were on top and Villa were clinical. We go again on Saturday.

The refereeing was of low quality this game. Both us and Villa deserved a penalty, and the second and third goals of Villa both had Wieffer being fouled on the build-up.

Brighton can search for the positives but to say the game changed from their own control to villa control after the first goal was the reason they slipped away is weak.
