i'm glad you kept in the fact that Maidenpool is in fact in Minecraft, people always leave that part out but i think it's one of George's boldest additions to the series

Quinn - “I don’t think Stannis will end up on the throne.”

Stannis - “A lie, take it out.”

Us Harrion Karstark loyalists will wait with optimism for him to reclaim the Karhold. We think House Thenn should be given the Dreadfort in place of the Boltons

Waiting for TWOW for Magnar Sigorn to return and save his Lord Stannis from Ramsey Bolton. The bronzed up barbarian decks the creepy sadist and says, "This may be Winterfell, but to me it looks like you're on Thenn ice." Stomps foot, all Boltons and Freys fall into ice water and die. Scene.

So I think the Thenns are sort of a view into how the First Men lives during the age of heroes. They live the farthest North of any people we've seen so far, which sort of indicates that they're the last remnant of how things were before the Andals. In particular, I think the fact that they see their magnar as a god is a nod to the old greenseer kings, whose legacy Bran will reignite.

The sigil also has the same colour scheme to weirwood trees (+ the bronze). Might be unintentional but it also might signify their connection to the old gods.

British copper walks in: "well, what's all this, Thenn?"

Adding to the point about House Thenn's loyalties, they're not among the group of free folk who pledge Jon their swords. Given that Alys says she thinks Karhold will open the gates for her, I think that's where she'll be. But if the castle will yield to her without a siege, then she doesn't necessarily need all the Thenn's with her, just a decent sized escort. It's possible Sigorn might lead the remaining men to Stannis, seeing as how he is his overlord now. If that's the case, leaving directly from Castle Black to Winterfell would position him behind Stannis, thereby protecting his rear. But if he traveled to Karhold with Alys even partially, we're looking at a March from the east that could attack, whatever forces the Boltons send from Winterfell's eastern gate.

I just love speculating over the Winds of Winter.

The thenns aren't the only wildlings who speak the old tounge. Ygritte at least understands some of it and Tormund and Leathers are both shown speaking with giants

Super interesting, and I have seen so few ASOIAF youtubers actually discuss about this house. Thanks Quinn

I imagine that if they don't get Karhold they will be given one of the castles in The Gift and be one of the most prominent groups re-settling it post-Long Night.

Fun fact- Though Alys Karstark is the commonly accepted candidate for the 'grey girl on a dying horse', she's never depicted on page wearing grey. We first see her sleeping in a black blanket given her by the Watch, and Jon doesn't note the color of the damp clothes on the ground next to her. Because of this discrepancy, I've wondered if the 'grey girl' is actually someone else who's yet to arrive and Alys was just a red herring (a la Quentyn Martell in Meereen). Could it be either of the Jeynes, both of whom are "sisters" of sorts to Jon and have reason to seek his protection? Could the 'grey girl' be Asha Greyjoy? It might be unlikely that the Grey Girl isn't Alys; but given that Alys wasn't depicted in grey and isn't Jon's sister...it's still fun to speculate about. Great video!!

For me, house Thenn Will be the first of a houses that will be connected with the wildlings, making them part of the north.

All of Westeros was built in Minecraft, it's called Westeroscraft.
I think their Design of many castles like Dragonstone for example is genius and much better than in the show, Summerhall and Castamere are also great, and many many other castles aswell. They try to keep as exactly to the book descriptions as possible.
They also have a YouTube channel, called Westeroscraft, with tours and timelapses of their builds.

What many people, including players don't seem to know, is you can play as house thenn in the feast for crows start date in ck2 agot. In it you lead a landless band of men and can join either stannis or the nights watch. When I did so i took over the riverlands and then died fighting the white walkers.

Okay this was the coolest video. Straightforward story telling on Quinn's part, such optimistic material for the bleak future of Westeros. Overall really well told story of the new house 😁

I wonder who'll get the Bolton's lands at the end. I'm hoping for Theon to start a new house and "start sowing" to counter the Greyjoy words. As for children, he likely has a few bastards, but more importantly there's the shipman's daughter who he most likely got pregnant and with whom i think he'll reunite.
Would also be a nice twist of fate that a man tortured by the Boltons ends up having their home and making sure no one will be tortured in such ways in that fort again

The wedding seems surprisingly wholesome
