Moldova's determination to resist Russia’s attempts to destabilize it lies in its morale and unity, says the country's interior minister, Ana Revenco – which makes both targets of the Kremlin.

In the capital, Chisinau, Revenco talks to DW's Tim Sebastian about Moscow's hybrid warfare and the threats to her country, and how Ukraine’s own defense also defends Moldova.

Conflict Zone is Deutsche Welle's top political interview. Every week, our hosts Tim Sebastian and Sarah Kelly are face to face with global decision-makers, seeking straight answers to straight questions, putting the spotlight on controversial issues and calling the powerful to account.

She failed to mention that Dodon, the guy claiming “he is being persecuted”, was registered on camera receiving money from Kremlin and complaining that Kremlin reduced their pay, which makes it harder to pay the party members.

9:00 - we in Moldova, still believe in separation of powers. Well, at least some of us. I think it is a blasphemy to ask for "justice" from ministry of intern affairs, or even from ministry of justice. The condemnation of criminals, or "alleged criminals" if you prefer, is done by judiciary power, by the judges, who are not elected by people, nor named by the politicians.

And yes, I think it is total bs and shame for the pretty evident cases taking so long in the court, but it is judges to blame, and some times lawyers, but in the public speaking, judges are anonymous and almost missing, all the blame goes to the politicians, who don't have legal or moral right to judge other people.

Evil is closely lurking. Sleep with one eye open. But you know that. Still rolling the dice.

Once Ukraine has removed ruZZia from its own country, hopefully the war-hardened Ukrainians can help Moldova to remove the ruZZians from Transnistria; the part of Moldova occupied by ruZZia.

I think the Moldovan people should kick out the Russian invadera from transniatria now. They wouldn't be getting reinforcements, so whatever presence Russia has in Transnistria is likely to copitulate quickly.

War is no solution, they should start the dialogue. Otherwise nothing will be left
