Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series featuring David Brooks

CU Boulder's Center for Leadership presents David Brooks as the 2021 Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series marquee speaker. Brooks will present Leadership: Centering Relationships and Building Trust, which illuminates how all citizens can be leaders in repairing our country’s social fabric.

Wonderful! Live nearby and the Mountain range disrupts communication in general and the wind was up that day! 60-70mph gusts. Watched it live, the glitches less apparent. it is the video delay that "amplifies it! So proud of Phillip DiStefano - CU Boulder is so diverse and he is Stellar! It started at 6PM MST and 9PM EST. The student speaker is very eloquent at the introduction.

@David - thanks for the lovely talk! Thank you for also distinguishing joy and happiness - I have also heard joy as the result of being grateful. I have lived my life by these principals since the age of 21 and have had my share of valleys both intentional and non-intentional. Just one comment - sex doesn't always produce joy or happiness, especially for women. Sex can be very complex and create more pain than satisfaction. One book that goes into that is called the Pleasure Gap by Katherine Rowland. Just wanted to point that out because to me it felt very male centric. Thanks again for your wise words!
