Some backstory on #11, since I looked the case up. From the Cal Dept. of Insurance: "Christopher Phelps, 40, of Yucaipa, and his wife, Kimberly Phelps, 40, were sentenced this week after pleading no contest to felony counts of insurance fraud, child abuse and assault with a deadly weapon."

He committed 17 insurance fraud collisions, some with his child in the car, and uploaded dozens of road rage videos to his Youtube channel under the name "Blu3 Gho57." He did not "spend 1 year in jail because of this guy, " this collision was only one of many. The lack of any footage from the front facing camera is likely an attempt to hide the fact that he accelerated into the truck after the collision had been avoided.

#1. Burns me up. Not that the driver took off but that, rather, the police aren't even returning the calls. If there are no consequences for illegal actions (hit and run, for instance), then there is a strong incentive for people to buy junk cars, drive around with no license or insurance, etc. Accident? Who cares ... just drive away.
