OHIO, wanted to use Hondros College for my P&C course, they stopped proctoring the class and their website linked me to Xcel. Xcel was not professionally written and not user friendly. The videos did not always work, the practice tests at the end of the chapters repeated the same answer for A-D and the spelling and grammar I looked for help on YouTube and the Insurance Exam Queen came thru. Passed my test today 1st try!!

Thank you so much. That did help me a lot. I have another question though. My husband drives a business owned car for a company he works for. He commutes each day about 1.25 hrs each way everyday. How is that classified? I think I read that somewhere but not sure where. I'm in South Carolina btw. Taking my P&C next week.

HI queen!! I've been looking your videos, tomorrow is my test... Can you explain me very quick.. WHO is an INSURED in a PAP? I get really confused when they start to talk about employees driving the vehicle, or someone who has permission to use the vehicle, someone who is entitled to do so, ettccc.. I really dont know who can be & who cannot be an insured..

I'm still having trouble with all of them! I can't keep them straight. The terms used here in Tennessee are "Covered Auto", "Non-owned Auto", and "Temporary Substitute Automobile" -

Example question (from Q-bank):
"Marita's car was damaged in an accident, so she rents a car to drive while hers is in the shop. Under the Liability section of Marita's PAP, the rental car is defined as.."
(Answer: Covered Auto)

Another confusing question:
"Howard borrows his neighbor's car because his son took his car to college for a week while moving into the dorm. Under Howard's automobile policy, his neighbor's car is considered..."
(Answer: Non-owned auto)

Last one:
"Which of the following would be considered a Temporary Substitute Automobile under PAP terms?"
(Answer: Loaner vehicle provided by repair shop)

I'm confused, though you explained most of it, that a rental car would be a "Hired" auto, is that different from the term "Covered"? I'm just so confused 😭
