Yogyakarta, often called “Jogja,” is a vibrant city in Central Java, Indonesia, renowned for its deep-rooted culture, history, and traditions. At its heart lies the Yogyakarta Sultanate, a monarchy established in 1755 that continues to play a pivotal role in preserving Javanese heritage.

11:31 it's called Gudeg..it's a typical Jogja food, very popular. but jackfruit is difficult to cook. not all restaurant /food stalls can cook jackfruit well. but if it is cooked well it tastes very good. you can find the best one in "gudeg yu narni mbarek"

Jogya has been my hometown since 1993. It was much better back then but i still love it. I call it my hometown. These days i only go to Malioboro etc if i have guests from out of town. Glad you enjoyed Yogyakarta .
