Bought this backpack for me and my wife. I already have the Gossamer Gear Kumo, but since that pack is comfy at around 9 kg and my multi-day gear including food and camera gear weighs a little more than that, I was looking for something with a little more support.
The MT 900 UL seems to hit all the right spots for me. Supposedly comfy at around 12kg load, it's got a trampoline back and SPACIOUS side pockets.
It's not too heavy either. I'd compare it to the Osprey Exos.

Looking forward to trying it out properly this year.

У меня лет 5 если не больше, был из декатлона рюкзак quick silver голубой с серым, литров на 35 наверное. Где он только ни был, что только в нем не носил - и на велике с ним и на работу, и рф.
Поистрепался чуть и ушел из кафехи Дюссельдорфа в неизвестном направлении, благо пустой, со значком "вело-1" и брелком с Эйфелевой башней ))
Вот скучаю по нему - особенно когда вижу такие же на немцах в поездах иногда 😢
и присматриваю замену, вот этот выглядит прямо функционально и размер вроде норм.

Seems a good compromise at the price. Not ultralight in the absolute sense, but you won't find all these features on a lighter pack costing three or four times more.

i weighed this mt900 backpack. not 1300g, exactly is 1400g, rain prevent included. i paid 780 chinese rmb for it . 730rmb =100$

it's NOT ultralight. it weighs 1.3 kg. Most real UL backpacks weigh half of it or even less. Check out Gossaer gear, Z-packs, palante, waymark, atom

Strange design. They wanted to collect the best from other backpacks and add some of their own innovative ideas. Overcomplicated side pockets. I understand that the idea is to be adapted to carry larger items, but why? What is disappointing is the lack of compression straps under the side pockets. Sometimes it is useful to reduce the volume of the pit. They could have made the upper straps out of thin tape. A few grams and you have a better grip on the object and the tape itself. Personally, I also don't like the additional 10L which make this backpack less comfortable to use. They could have added an extra top flap to this one as suggested by other designs. The price seems ok, but it's not as good as you start looking for on the Internet. Because you add 40 pounds and you get Osprey exos or Gregory Focal. Now on trekkinn the exos (2024 pocket version) and focal are £158. But I do not recommend trekkinn, some buyers have problems with delivery. The few left on Amazon: Osprey 38L - 134 pounds / 48L 161 pounds. Gregory 126 pounds not described size probably 38L
