[TURN ON CC FOR ENG SUBS] There are plenty of "Multi-queen" fan videos out there, but how about Multi EMPRESSES of China? This fan edit showcases several empresses from multiple dynasties in Chinese history. I wanted to include more dynasties and empresses but unfortunately ran out of space and time...

Some of the translations are my own and may be paraphrased for context. Other translations are based on existing subtitles, some of which I edited and localized for my video. There may be a few errors.

But I have a crush on Empress Ula-Nara (Ruyi) from Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. For all the context of history and for its strength, courage and elegance.
And the scene where she cuts her hair and divorces Qianlong is just fascinating.

Sometimes the position of Empress is not a blessing or an hour, but a lot of times it is a curse all these women suffered, not being able to show weakness having to be a model .Having to be perfect, carrying that weight on your shoulders was so exhausting and suffocating, having to see so many manipulations and schemes the Palace was a battleground for everyone, and everyone fought each other . They had to do their best to survive, but sometimes it is so tiring that the best option is to leave.

I find Sun Li is the best. Both in Emperesses in the palace and Legend of Mi Yue, she bring both character to life.. Her acting is really powerful and outstanding, from young girl to a powerful woman one can see the transformation thru her acting.... 😍❤️

I'm not belittle the other empress in the video. But Wu Zetian is the most regal among all the other empress that shows here. Even if she wear another cloth, her regality never disapear. Fan Bing Bing is amazing for carrying the Wu Zetian character. She is just a level of her own.I really like Hoifa Nara Sushen from Yanxi Palace. She just have this charm and charisma as an empress. The story truly shows that she is a patience hunter. While Ruyi in the Royal Love in the palace is good, to me Sushen is more charming than Ruyi. That's just my opinion only.
