Did you know that if you are 100% self-employed you can get a refund too?

That's probably one of the biggest questions I get around tax time from my Self-Employed community.

So, in this video, I'm going to show you how it's done.

I watched the video and learned a lot, so thank you for sharing that! I would love to see a scenario for a single individual who is self employed with no dependent please :)

After weeks of confusion, this has helped me tremendously. I have a unique situation -- receiving disability and doing only a very small amount of part-time work throughout the year. That, along with back-payments, makes this a unique filing for sure lol.

What about those on SSDI and self employed? You cannot make over $1, 300 while being on SSDI....

So let me ask a question, if I file using a schedule c for my two businesses and out in all the expenses I had for my two businesses including wages I paid three of my teenage kids for work they did around my businesses and if I record my losses on money I invested in the stock market, there's a chance I may be able to see a refund for my personal taxes? I am a single member LLC and I have two of them.

Hey thank you so much for this video, but I have a question how did you calculate SE TAX, EIC and DCB tax that’s the part I’m kind of confuse.

So if it’s hurting me in the SE credit, is that meaning that I may not need to deduct so much?

So in order to reduce the gross income to offset the S.E. Tax we would need to "Business Expenses" to show up...am I right?

I keep being told the government will not pay you a refund for your business losses so I’m so confused… I just got wrecked on sales and use tax for the state now I still have to file for state income, federal income and self employment tax. So basically my LLC is triple taxed and I feel like I’m drowning tbh and all my profits are disappearing
