Their bunkers are perfect and totally consistent. The ones we play suck.

What strategy do they use to play out of bunkers with no sand in them like we deal with a public courses?

My trick to being better in the sand is to play courses that don't have concrete for

Dan Grieve teaches this method as well. If only there was a practice facility nearby. my only time to practice bunkers seems to be when I land in one.

Thank god my coach actually taught me exactly how to hit bunker shots with this method and ive loved bunker shots ever since. He showed me how to alter my technique slightly for hard municipal sand or wet sad as well as nice country club sand. Then he gave me some secret sauce on how he hits fried eggs right next to the lip lol

I tried this for the first time yesterday, in a tournament, no practice. Came out perfect, amazing, and has a tap in par. Could bunkers really be that easy?

I have been playing 40 years... i would rate my bunker play at around 10 shots worse on my handicap. With this technique it seems impossible to hit the dreaded skull.

Just use the toe of the club, keeping the heel or hosel out of the sand. The hosel is what catches the sand. But still use a steep swing, hitting the sand behind the ball. Try it. It works like magic for me.

This is how I've been playing my bunker shots since I was a kid! Did the same when I played against Collin in high school

Go do a search for Faldo and bunker tips. Pretty much exactly his technique. He's been around a while. New trend, eh?

This guy spends more time in the sand than David Hasselhoff

just hit the slice method, it's easy as. And you dont have to squat low perfectly and look like a fool.

Clubs are getting too easy - should have brought in standardisation a long time ago for the pro regarding wedges and lofts.

Not really a new thing. Been a playing pro for the last couple of years but I did that 8 or 9 years ago when I first started playing. That’s one of the reason why I never really had to train junker play and was always better than most even at high level

Public golf courses have crappy bunkers and there’s no place to practice bunker shots

If the sand is nice, that’s a big IF, I would rather be in a green side bunker 7days a week than a thick Bermuda ruff. Way easier to control.
