What will help you with the lagging that I had the same problem with my jjrc h47 WHICH ACTUALLY HAS A DEDICATED CONTROLLER WITH ANTENNAS IN IT AND YOU GET FURTHER THAN THE TELLO BUT NO SPECIAL FEATURES..

Put your phone in airplane mode then turn on the Wi-Fi. Then make sure you pick Auto reconnect for your Tello only

Then do manual reconnect for all of your other wifi

Your glitching should go away for the most part

Will this fly with 4g for example when you are away from home and not in close proximity to your home wi fi router

Hey there! Great video. You may be the ONLY one talking about max range/height. Can you please retest with a Wi-Fi repeater? See what happens with range/height/video quality? BTW, are still photos any good? Also, can you share more about your method of waking up the “dead” battery? I think this might be helpful for everyone.

Hey can you tell me how to do that slow trickle trick because by mistake I let one of my 4s packs for my cars go bad and I'm pissed because it was expensive and I only used it for around 4 months

Have you found a true functional controller for the tello? I've seen results from the madcatz but the Bluetooth connection ruins the video recording for some reason.

Is the lag in the recorded video based on the quality of the wifi on the phone or will the recorded video always have that lag in it? Thanks

they have no dedicated controller or any way to make a controller increase the range that's why I don't like the tello and I will not buy it

Even my jjrc h47 that is half the price not as long flight time but I have three batteries has a dedicated cool controller that gives you further range than using your phone. And experience with using phones and small quadcopters NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, VERY HARD TO CONTROL..

IT'S A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME SPENDING $100 ON A DRONE. THEN SPENDING ABOUT $30 ON A CONTROLLER.. DJI has a $30 controller also not the one he's showing..

They could have cornered the market if they give you a dedicated controller... Not a USB controller
