Mr Mark has been waiting ages to take out the 2017 BMW F800 GS Trophy and he got the chance in this video.

In the pouring rain, he rides and talks about how he finds the bike and what he thinks of it.

I think the 800 is not as popular because people just think they need the 1200!! The 800 is quick enough in the real world, easy to ride, light, much better in the trails than a 12. I rode one to the Pyrenees - no aches or pains. It’s a seriously awesome bike to own. I do also own a 12 - both ace bikes but very different

Had one of these years ago, the on board computer, fuel gauge, was an £150 extra, crazy, an all new version is due next year and about time to, love the sunny weather.

Good video guys, some amusing bits too. The 800 is liquid cooled so it's definitely a coolant radiator, only the pre liquid cooled 1200GS has an oil cooler.

We picked one of the worst days of our 'summer', standing water and a road that was completely flooded but the F800GS sailed through it like a ship in full sail.... Can you tell I was in the navy?

Yes I am paying attention! Those people who spend their lives researching "things" have found that reaction time to LED brake lights is shorter than reaction time to "bulbs". Maybe that explains why only the brake lights are LED?

I'm a female rider looking to get my first touring bike. Seat height and bike weight are always an issue so I'd really appreciate your advice on the F700GS and the G310GS. The 700 is about 50kg heavier than the 310 but the seat is lower and the fuel tank is under the seat. Is the G310GS big enough tour around Europe and can you do a review of it? Thanks

With all the new BMW models, this one seems to me too much outdated. Maybe only the aestethics, I don't know, but also it's not usual to see the chain in the right side and the fuel cap on the rear.
