Balenciaga Unboxing Fail | Fashionphile Unboxing Fail

Today I share a luxury unboxing fail of my Balenciaga Mid Day bag. I purchased this Balenciaga bag from Fashionphile and I was so excited to add it to my Designer Bag Collection. Unfortunately things don’t always go as planned. I was fully away that the bag wasn’t in the best condition and I thought I could rehab it myself, but I bit off more than I could chew. When I was younger I used to buy vintage Coach and Louis Vuitton bags and do a bit of cleaning and conditioning before reselling on eBay, so I’m no stranger to the process. There was just something special about this Balenciaga Mid Day in Sahara from Fashionphile that told me it was too special to be my first Balenciaga test subject in trying to lighten the dark Balenciaga handles or stains throughout the light neutral lambskin leather. I still have my heart set on a Balenciaga Mid Day and I’m waiting for Fashionphile to get “the one” in stock soon so I can add one (let’s be honest- several) to my closet. I in no way blame Fashionphile for this fail, they were very honest and upfront in the description, it was purely my fault. As always, thank you guys for watching, commenting and subscribing! It‘s great that you can return at Fashionphile! I shop preloved with VC alot and there are no returns accepted (only if the quality control missed to mention a flaw)..
I have to admit, that I don‘t mind the condition on this one too much 🤔 (well at least at the first look, when you showed the glue more close up, it looks kinda bad 😅 you‘re right about that) - and if it doesn’t make you happy, it‘s for sure the right decision to return!

Aww I’m sorry this didn’t work out but you were right to send it back even if you got it at a great discount. The handle would not have lasted and you would have had to sirens more money getting it repaired. Onwards and upwards Caleb!! ⬆️🤗❣️

I have the same version of this bag, and it has a lot of wear and tear and my corner has piping hanging out and my handle looks the same. I love Balenciaga as well. I just bought a pompon from FASHIONPHILE recently.

I would feel the same! There’s too many flaws to keep. However the bag is gorgeous and the price is amazing! I love Fashionphile for the return policy. It makes shopping less stressful 😊

For me, big bags never went away. Small bags will not go away either, once the fashion changes. I think that in a good and comprehensive wardrobe, everyone needs options. Even someone with minimal interest in bags needs at least one big bag and one small bag, as well as one medium! Sorry it didn't work out for you. Hopefully the next one will be a success!

Hi Caleb, Sorry about the bag...but you’ll find another one! I love FASHIONPHILE there is always something new. I bought a Hermès Kelly in Navy box leather from the early 90’s in size 28 from FASHIONPHILE and it’s beautiful .... a little wear but it add character . I do have a Kelly Bleu Nuit retourne that’s maybe a year but a still grab the box leather instead . We are in the house it’s a dream Iwill send pictures to you soon...if you and Zane ever come to NYC you should come out to visit I would love to show the house off....it’s over 7, 500sq ft John wanted his dream house on the water in Greenwich so at 64 he has like your design style so maybe you can give me some care and keep shopping...N
