Man... I remember when this was coming out, I was so incredibly hyped for the games. Every trailer was so fulfilling, and as the days went by suspense grew rapidly. These were the last good pokemon games, probably. Even if the dialogue is excessive, the new art style, leap in graphics, new pokemon, new take on progression system, new moves, abundance of hype trailers and great communication with the fans truly shows how much love and care was put into these games. To say I had a blast playing for 10 hours the day it came out, would be like saying a broken femur hurt a little. Knowing that I might never experience hype for a game as much as this makes me kinda sad

Wait, if Greninja could transform into Ash-Greninja from the strong bond with Ash, why didn't Pikachu turn into Ash-Pikachu as well?

I was wondering something. If Ash and Greninja had such a strong bond that it made an unofficial mega-evolution, shouldn't Ash and Pikachu's bond which is a lot stronger unlock a similar mega-evolution or something even stronger like a new evolution for Pikachu?

From what I've seen of Team Skull in the demo, they're going to be up there with Team Rocket as one of my favorites. It's a laughing moment when you first see them.

Back in October of 2016 I was 10 years old and in 5th grade when I downloaded this demo version of sun & moon. I remember being excited to play this because this was the first and only generation I was hyped for because of how unique it was, nostalgic.

*The Ash-Greninja Concept and Why It's Completely Fine*

First off, people need to grasp the fact that this Greninja and its essence form is a special present for the players, NOT a forced bond mechanic that locks us with AG specifically. Whether because of fan demand or popularity being why this Greninja is being given away, the concept and purpose for AG is for the players to be given his actual existent entity, NOT the mechanic tied to it.

With that said, I've seen many flawed points and arguments-

"Were they seriously that lazy... They couldn't think of any better name for Ash-Greninja..."

"I wonder why is it called ASH Greninja, not My IGN Greninja. I thought it bonded with ME not with fricking ASH."

"So when we get a Battle Bond Greninja in the full released games (IF we are able to get one that is) will it transform into "<Player-Name>-Greninja"? I really, really don't want Ash's name on it if I'm going to use it... Not a big fan of the mainline series."

"What I'm wondering Why is it called 'Ash Greninja'?" *And there's many more*.

What people are ultimately not understanding is two things.

*1.* The mechanic on how Greninja transforms is not a separate feature in the game, and the second point is actually tied to this point to.

*2.* We're being given Ash's Greninja, not a default/regular/special Greninja (which is where the misconceptions form) that can or should transform to match our avatar's attire. This is exactly what GF did not design. *They literally chose to give us AG > an in-depth/separate mechanic for achieving what Ash did via our own special created avatars*. People need to greatly grasp this fact.

There's also the side of the world complaining about *the canon*, and some false claims like the games will be canon now. There's something for that to.

*1.* The Demo and AG Video itself directly states "The *Special* Demo version is a separate journey outside the events of the actual games." This directly confirms the demo is not canon to the main games and that thus AG is not canon to the games either. It would be canon if this event was a side quest in the main game (like confronting Red - Want to bet on if Ash will be in the game? - or finding Looker), which it evidently is not, further supporting the main point.

*2.* AG is not in the full game-- the canonical one, and he can't be accessed from within it. He can be transferred from the separate dimensions of the demo; however, not being in S&M originally, makes him non-canon.
