I played this in the 90's in Europe arcade machines, it was a golden age, so many good memories. It's just missing the words here when catching the bells like up!!!" etc that the arcade machine had. The music is incredible, 10x better than SNES version, Pop'n'twinbee etc also the speed and gameplay is much better. Also the bosses 10x better here!

The bells would also be later used as power ups in Konami's Parodius series and Twinbee himself would be a playable character in the entire series.

I never was aware the Twinbee arcade game was released in the US. (Thanks for the shitty ultra convoluted name Konami, seriously, when i read the title i thought it was going to be some sort of puzzle game for sure) There is some awesome SHUMP action in this game. Great work as always sir! Keep those videos coming!

Hauo Miyasaki's lawyer will be on the phone. Several of the level backgrounds ahd a distinct resemblance to ones in Castle in the Sky. The Flying cities were almost an exact duplicate of Laputa, down to the domed roofs and the outer ring walls suspended by flying butresses.
