If the rumour turns out to be correct then only one thing to you Francis and the rest of the band (and those departed) for giving so much energy and great times to so very many over the years. We have grown up together since the earliest days and I have loved every moment of seeing and hearing think I owe you more than you realise as the Quo have taken me past some hard times over the years. See you with the accoustic set in Stamford next year!

Back in the 70s when life was real and music was your life me and my mates would rock to this band leaving a fine sprinkling of dandruff on the floor. I don't really follow the Quo now so much. But those moments in my life 5 decades ago will live with me forever. Thank you so much for those memories. 😊

Saw them in October 1976 at the Civic Theatre, Newcastle, Australia. One of the best concerts ever, we were downstairs below the 2nd level and getting covered in bits of ceiling plaster from above, the whole place was jumping, never seen anything like it.

Saw them in Belfast and Bootle. They were brilliant!

Personally I will be happy for Francis, a new chapter in his life. I have been to a couple of his close up and personal shows which are excellent. I feel he has given his all to the mighty Quo, all good things must end, however I hate to hear him being slagged off for whatever reason. He has given his fans more than 50 yrs of pure entertainment, what more can anyone ask?

I'm glad I got to see Quo several times with the proper lineup. One thing you could always say is that the gigs were always full energy and super fun light rock n roll. A great night out. I'll miss them.

Ive not missed a tour since 1978... Usually averaging 6 gigs per tour.
Except due to ill health and work commitments I missed this year.
To say im gutted would be an understatement.

Richie is ok but no one opens Caroline like Rick did. It was like an express train going full tilt. RIP Rick and Alan.

Rossi’s guitar sound is not what it used to be, I much preferred the older natural raunchy Tele sound rather than his newer more over driven sound.

They are just a parody nowadays, it is all about Rossi.

Since 1979 and their rapid descent into godawful albums-and I used to be a huge fan they are now just a Comedy/Novelty/Parody act to rival The Darkness and Steel have packed it in many, many years ago.
