Honestly learning monster behavior, crafting weapons and armor, and participating in epic hunts is fun and all, but I'd say the real game is the home design and pet capturing aspects.

Each area in the guiding lands has its own rare Moly version.
But... the rare Molys only spawn when the area is at least at Level 5.

Sometimes a Tsuchinoko appears in Shara Ishvalda's quest, next to the hitching post that takes you to the arena.

The rare Moly in Coral area looks pink and covered in bubbles. The rare Moly in Rotten Vale looks like a baby Nergigante

Get all of the "Trailblazer" ingredients, activate the 6 ingredient ones (Zoomaster) to make rare endemic life spawn more commonly, if you want small/large just wait for the daily felyne skill on microzoologist (for small) or macrozoologist (for big), this gives you a higher chance to find smaller/bigger endemic life

I found the Blue Diva by accident while looking for the Bugtrappers hideout. I was clearly in the wrong place 😅 but it all worked out

I mean it's probably not bothering anyone else, but I'm surprised that they didn't give the ghilie mantle an alternative look in the hoarfrost reach region. Since it's the only one without real greenery in it and you stick out like a soar thumb while wearing a leafy mantle.

Coral region has the purple variant Fluffy Moly, rotted region has the black variant Spiny Moly.

That nettle was a real pain for me, not in one go but 60+ attempts to get it in between other quests, all with the buff on. he moon slugs were often there without it. I've not seen a single moly yet tho, and there are supposed to be spiky moly (vale) and coral moly (highlands) versions too.

Molly can respawn multiple times in the same expedition, as well as rare Mollies

There’s a rare pet called Tsuchinoko (similar shape to the arrowhead gecko) that can be found in the final boss map, just before you jump down to the arena

Arrow Head Gecko: A specific Event quest has a ~100% chance to spawn an arrow head gecko in the rotten vale. I used that trick to farm 3-5 for room pets
