Great inspiration, Rainier! Love the not just parenting lesson on doing things WITH your kiddo, but just in general. Awareness of the mechanics of how you feel and what motivate an adult vs a 6yo. Brilliant! If we shield our children from the realities of how hard it is to achieve goals or even how to set goals, we fail them. What a wonderful skill to teach him and of course, watching you learn from him too. Team approach is fabulous, giving your family a real sense of how to find themselves and how important they are to you. Loved it!

I loved the focus on how when we are young the most fun motivates where as when we are older the least energy used motivates. For me, I feel like finding a happy medium of what is fun and a reasonable energy usage to get to the finishing point is ideal. It's almost as if Raneir if bringing you back to what your inner child likes about running!!

i wish i had u guys as parents. I had severe depression and suicidal thoughts all through my childhood and my parents never noticed.. I think if little Rainier was even in an off mood you guys would know immediately.
