Transcripted is an upcoming puzzle-shooter hybrid created by the French game developing team Alkemi. The game combines classic elements of puzzle games with 2D omnidirectional shooting, creating a surprisingly addictive gameplay enhanced by neon visuals and awesome techno music.
Take the role of a nano-probe tasked to clear the human body from a virus that threatens the host's genetic code. Use upgradable weapons and abilities to attack germs whilst collecting colorful cubes which have to be released towards infected strands of DNA to regain their former status.
Transcripted is scheduled for release this month, and will be available for Mac and PC at the pocket-friendly price of only $10. TopWare might port this game to the XBLA, but for now, Transcripted will only reach computer gamers.
