How to Change ATV Ball Joints

This is done on a 2008 Arctic Cat Thundercat atv
Besides the tools from the begining you're going to need a press too.

Nice job on the upper, the lower are more tricky since the spindle seal is in the way

So hand tools only (but make sure you have a hyd press)

Да, в целом неплохо. Я сегодня менял шаровую... Было сложновато. Разобрал быстро, а вот поставить обратно новую... пришлось помучиться. Очень плотно входит. Надо заранее подбирать специальнве шайбы, чтобы можно было в тисках запрессовать. Ну или молотком по краешку)

I am looking for an ATV ball joint installer/remover so I don't need to remove the A Arms. I have replaced several like this and never seen a ball joint come out of the A arm so easy. Usually takes 2 people and an 8lb. sledge hammer.

make sure to use green lock Tite otherwise the ball joint will wallow the a arm.

You didnt say you needed a press and how do you tighten/loosen nut on ball joint without the balljoint turning ....thumbs down on this video he doesnt explain anything just fast forward video of him fixing it that doesnt tell anyone "how to"
