Soundwave locked in on starscreams head after that betrayal. The issue with trying to betray Megatron is that Soundwave is gonna kill you immediately after. If not soundwave, then Shockwave. If not him, then Devastator. 3 Boss fights back to back. Oh lord starscream was doomed

Starscream betrayed Megatron. What!!! No way he would “never” do that surely he wouldn't.

I love how everytime Starscream fucks over Megatron and becomes leader if the decepticons it never works out how he wanted it to. Even when he does it multiple times in the same continuity its always the same result

I absolutely love how whenever Starscream gets control of the Decepticons it NEVER works out how he thinks it will.

He’s been disrespected and outright ignored by them despite his new position, he’s fallen into a depressive slump over failing to assert himself as a leader and watching helplessly as the Deceptions cannibalise each other for energon and parts, and of course that iconic moment where he was “king” for a whopping 10 seconds before being disintegrated to dust by Galvatron.

The only “good” outcome was when he was made head of the reformed Cybertronian council as the representative of the Decepticons, but even then he couldn’t stop being Starscream for like 5 minutes

Optimus isn’t just “rocking Megatron’s arm”, he’s carrying a piece of his old friend into battle… You can clearly see that he’s talking to the arm, which shows how much he still respects his former friend. The scene gives me classic Charles Xavier/Magneto vibes.

The order of my transformers leaders respect goes: Optimus Prime. Megatron. He may be a "bad guy", but he's a worthy one and seems to have a unspoken mirrored respect for Optimus
