Thin steak knives worked for me still didn't want to come right out so I reattached face plate and pulled on it came right out.

The deck was installed at an audio shop (professionally), 9 years ago. I wasn't given removal keys. If you can show what the key slides into to release it, I could make the key.

Great shame the exact location of key placement was obscured in the video. I guess most folks are, like me, here because things are not working how they should.
