The First Descendant First Impressions | If Warframe And Destiny 2 Had A Baby

Let's take a look at The First Descendant! Here are my first impressions, no shock it's a mixture of Warframe X Destiny. Throw in some Anthem and Outriders in there and you have a game. Pretty much a more monetized type of Warframe game, will it last? Time will tell but I am having fun so will continue to play for a while!

Only problem with me is that, while playing, I’m finding so many similarities to warframe that I just want to load up warframe. Mastery rank, mods, frames, endo, playstyle, mechanics, upgrades, researching, missions. Like I got 800 hours on Warframe and I can’t get past it at all.

I looked at The "Bunny" Ultamte pack is going run you $105 USD.

I've got about 6 hours into this game. I can see some of the glints of warframe with the mods on the guns and on your Decendant and the pay to skip time vs grind it out aspects. But, it's more like if Outriders and Lineage had a baby.
Then it got to spend a Summer with Uncle Warframe who taugh them some card tricks to make money of his friends.

The three gun loadout like in Outriders and a gun modifications system closer to how you get to Upgrade guns in Fortnite's save the world mode.
Ammo drop rates in missioms don't drop the ammo that you are using appropiately.

The Melee hit box is lacking and oddly placed for controller play (Both left and Right bumpers at the same time). The movement is only slightly better than Outriders, but hey atleast you can climb and you got a grappling hook.

A Mid Game with a pay to dressup even sexier, Sexy K-Pop shell.

Go play it. If you like it, you like it. But it will fall to the wayside when the next shiny new game comes out.

The thing I really love about this game is it a clean slate. It is definitely a mixture between destiny and warframe. There are a lot of similarities. Now, I'm a veteran to both and I played both for several years and I can confidently say 110% neither games are beginner friendly, hell even returning friendly. There's just so much that happens in such a short amount of time it becomes very overwhelming. Not only that but both games are so damn far along now it is virtually impossible to catch up.. this game is a clean slate to introduce people into Looter shooters whether they want to play destiny or Warframe or stay with this one. I'm a few hours in and it's a blast.

Yo, the reason I play warframe is for the bullet jumping. for being an agile invincible magical space ninja. no other game has ever come close to the base controls of warframe.

Having alot of fun with it, I played for 12 hours and my only complaint is the minor frame drops I get on ps5 but they aren’t horrible.

played for 4-5 hours on ps5, faced stutters on multiple occasions (still playing very well). Having fun so far, just have to see whats the grind like and how convoluted the progression gets. I liked destiny but dropped it and played warframe for around 200+- hours but it felt too much and little to nothing is explained.
Hoping this game get it right.

just play warframe, it looks better, is cheaper if you want to spend, you never have to spend because you can get anything you want if you grind for it. the first descendant is an actual scam of a game
