Land Rover Discovery II Door Handle Fix (Door wont open without force)

the door handle on my 2003 land rover disco 2 would not open without excessive force so i took the door apart and fixed it.

MAKE SURE YOU TEST THE LOCKING BEFORE YOU PUT IT ALL BACK I just spent my afternoon trying to get it apart with the door closed. Test the locking and the super locking before you put it together

Turning that rod is hard I need to squeeze both hands in that tight space moving the rod around and turned it two time. Now it works perfect.

same here. replaced handle/lock. now can't open at all. oh the joys.

have been fighting this the whole afternoon and it was working great after I fixed it throught a different method. put the panel back in and all of it, soon as im done... door doesnt open either from inside or outside. I am selling this junk hehehe

Like dude this got to be the worst tutorial I have ever watched. But at least the link to the forum was better explained. Thanks anyways, not trying to diss your efforts just to make some constructive criticism.
