TLDR: do the line work after watercolor to prevent colors from mixing.

youre attempting to combine mediums that dont mix. you can combine watercolor and marker, but the materials youre using arent meant to be combined. it messes up the lines. try doing the line work after watercolor to fix that; then the markers and watercolor mixing can be hidden and you wont need to buy more expensive products.
