Not a hater but I have some feedbacks
1. I think the title is misleading. The iPhone 12 is not a bad phone. I still use it and even if it didn't get iOS 18, it would have been just fine. I would have still kept using it
2. You did not really talk about how it actually saved the iPhone 12
3. You did not talk about, from all the features aanounced for iOS 18, what features the iPhone 12 would get in the iOS 18 update and what features were not coming
4. From your tone, I could make out that the iPhone 12 is not your primary device so you wouldn't have used it daily to really deep dive into whats what. You installed the beta and used it for a couple of days on the side just to make this video.

not sure why someone would actually use those features on a 12 tho, but performance and battery life as of right now (18b8 and 18.0) already took quite a hit, instead of optimizing stuff and making performance better than it used to be in ios 16/17, you get stutter under load and very poor battery.

Remember ppl, downgrading to 17.6.1 would become impossible in a week or so. So stay on ios 17 till july-august 2025 (when 18.6 comes out), and only then assess and upgrade. 16.6.1 is also quite good, but will become somewhat outdated in a year or so.

I believe even the XS will get iOS 19, albeit a very cut down version. The 12 will probably get up to iOS 21/22.
