I guess I'm a chess nerd now, huh?

About Chess:
Chess is a strategic game played with eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, one queen and one king. As all these different pieces can move different squares, the queen it the most powerful, having the power to move diagonal, vertical, and horizontal. However, the king is the most important piece. Here are some chess terms you need to know:
Check: When a piece is threatening the opponent's king and the opponent has to move or protect the king in any way possible.
Checkmate: When the king is trapped in a position where the opponent's piece(s) are attacking the king, the difference with Check and Checkmate is where the king has nowhere to move and has no other pieces to protect it.
Stalemate: Stalemate is similar to Checkmate, except that the king is not in check. Stalemate occurs when the king is trapped in a position where it cannot move, however, no other pieces are attacking it. Also, the remaining pieces has to be in a position where it can't legally move anywhere.
