I just saw the movie Valerian in 4dx, this film was made for this technology, really great I felt. Not that I would want every movie this way, but a movie like Valerian deserved this.

I think these are deliberate attempts to introduce IMAX, 4DX etc techlogies in cinemas to survive the attack by Highest quality home cinemas.The JBL subwoofer installed in PVR, that particular model costs hardly 1 lakh rupees each.Whereas the subwoofers which are used for dedicated home cinemas cost almost rupees 1lakh 40000 each.Surround speakers in PVR costs hardly 30 thousand rupees each and in most home cinema's people use surround speakers costing atleast 50 thousand rupees each.On the highest budget home cinemas people use the sound system which is 6 to 7 times more expensive than the sound system installed in more than 90 percent of the commercial cinemas in India.The only positive aspect in commercial cinemas is the content being played is almost exactly the same copy of original data produced by film makers.Whereas the content that people play in home cinemas like Blu Ray and DVD is in much more compressed form.If we could get the same content to play on home cinemas the most commercial cinemas would look quite inferior..

I AM DISAPPOINTED PVR ELANTE 4DX has stopped using water effect and the seats don't rumble much....they are trying to save electricity 😭😭😭😭

I watched at pvr and they had no snow bubble or splash effects only rain and wind effects.

I just saw Pacific rim 2 in PVR 4dx pune and what a worst experience it was.. no water no snow, no bubble only strobe and worst bumping seats.. avoid 4dx if you want to save money.. just bumping seats that too irregular.. sorry I missed no scent and just air that too from side..

recently watched a movie in 4dx nothing happened only the seats were moving there was no air water and all. Very disappointed. Got nothing after paying more .

Pathetic experience except for incessant excessive annoying bumps and few pan shots, there is nothing else worth it. IMAX experience is far better than this.
