Μεγάλο Νεώριο Πόρου: Ένας τόπος που αξίζει να επισκεφθείς

Λίγο μετά την παραλία του Μικρού Νεωρίου προχωρώντας προς τα δυτικά θα βρεις το Μεγάλο Νεώριο. Όπως το λέει και το όνομα του, το Μεγάλο Νεώριο αποτελεί μία μεγαλύτερου μήκους παραλία (από το Μικρό Νεώριο) κατά μήκος της οποίας μπορείς να βρεις οργανωμένα κομμάτια αλλά και μη οργανωμένα κομμάτια για να επιλέξεις εσύ που επιθυμείς να κάνεις τη βουτιά σου!

Η οργανωμένη παραλία στο Μεγάλο Νεώριο παρέχει όλες τις ανέσεις (ξαπλώστρες, καντίνα και σκιά) ενώ λίγο πιο έξω βρίσκεται το χωριό Νεώριο με πολλές επιλογές σε διαμονή, εστίαση κλπ.

Στο Μεγάλο Νεώριο μπορείς να έρθεις με τα πόδια (35′ περίπου) από την πόλη του Πόρου ή με ποδηλατο, αν θέλεις να απολαύσεις τη διαδρομή! Φυσικά μπορείς να πάρεις το αυτοκίνητό σου ή την τοπική συγκοινωνία, ενώ βολεύει ιδιαίτερα το βαρκάκι που με συχνά δρομολόγια από την πόλη σε αφήνει στο Νεώριο σε λίγα λεπτά.

Τα καθαρά νερά, το γαλάζιο της θάλασσας και το πράσινο της βλάστησης σε μεταφέρουν αυτόματα σου προσφέρουν αυτόματα μια αίσθηση γαλήνης και ηρεμίας.
Αλλά αυτό που ξεχωρίζει το Μεγάλο Νεώριο από τις υπόλοιπες παραλίες του Πόρου είναι το κέντρο θαλασσίων σπορ και η σχολή σκι πού θα βρεις εκεί. Ο Πόρος είναι γνωστό ότι διαθέτει μία από τις καλύτερες σχολές σκι στην Ελλάδα από όπου έχουν βγει πρωταθλητές μέσα στα χρόνια!

Shortly after the beach of Mikros Neorio, going west you will find Megalo Neorio. As its name suggests, Megalo Neorio is a longer beach (than Mikro Neorio) along which you can find organized sections as well as unorganized sections for you to choose where you want to dive!

The organized beach at Megalo Neorio provides all the comforts (sunbeds, canteen and shade) while a little outside is the village of Neorio with many options for accommodation, dining, etc.

Megalo Neorio can be reached on foot (about 35′) from the town of Poros or by bicycle, if you want to enjoy the journey! Of course, you can take your car or the local transport, while the boat is particularly convenient, with frequent routes from the city, leaving you in Neorio in a few minutes.

The clear waters, the blue of the sea and the green of the vegetation automatically transport you and offer you a sense of peace and tranquility.
But what sets Megalo Neorio apart from the other beaches of Poros is the sea sports center and the ski school you will find there. Poros is known to have one of the best ski schools in Greece that has produced champions over the years!
