The Val d'Orcia in Tuscany is on the list of many landscape and travel photographers' bucket list.

This beautiful area of central Italy is stunning at any time of the year but certainly, in May the area comes alive with mist-filled mornings and wildflowers too.

A few weeks ago I made what is something like my 8th journey to the Val d'Orcia. And it didn't disappoint.

My channel is dedicated to all things landscape and travel photography so if that’s your thing then I’d love to have you come along for the ride.

Fabulous region. I am looking forward to go walking there some day.
Some dope imagery. What you are not saying, after finally staying in the region, is how steep these paths leading to villages actually are. Got to be fit.

Hi Julian, I’m in the USA right now and have just viewed your post. I was you client and it’s great looking back to the locations that we photographed. I have to say to any one who views this post that you took me to some great locations and I got some excellent ( for me) images. The Val D’Orcia is a great place to visit with some stunning photography locations. Thanks for a good week.

I love being reminded of the beauty of the Val D'Orcia - such a stunning location with beautiful views in every direction. Always worth visiting the honeypot locations, as the journey takes you past other lesser photographed locations that you can visit as well.

What a lovely place. Great images Julian & would love to come across a poppy or lavender field sometime. I have subscribed & love the fact you don't plead for like, subscribe, share, comment etc every 5 mins like some I watch. keep up the great work.

In memory of George Schuler (1873 - 1325). The only one who ever lived backwards.
