I agree with you on creatine being perfectly safe. I've been on it for a year now. 3 months at a time with 1 week breaks in between. However, IMHO, beta alanine will help one out much better for the purpose of P90x as it's less focused on explosiveness and more focus on strengthening exercises which emphasize endurance.

@20wsmith P90X2 is just as challenging as P90X was when I first started that. It really isnt for anyone who hasnt completed P90X, Insanity or some other comparable fitness program. LOVIN IT though, lol.

creatine has been around for decades and undergone extreme scrutiny and testing...its safe.

@xyMike3 I drink it once per day for breakfast. You can drink it up to 3 times per day though. if you check out "my shakeology recipe" video, you will see that I do add protein whey!

I mean, look at the profile for the P90x recovery drink. It's literally just sugar water with trace amount of creatine. What is the purpose of including .5 g of creatine in that product when that doesn't amount to any benefits AT ALL. It's super underdosed. Underdosed by over HALF the recommended post-workout protein intake and it's underdosed in creatine by 5x. I mean, MAINTENANCE dosing for creatine is 5 g's a day. Just to have creatine start kicking in requires 4 weeks of 5 g's a day.

LOL. I've gone through P90x, all that did was lean me out a lot but didn't put on much in terms of size. Start hitting the weights old school and packed on 8 pounds of lean muscle so far. So, what parts of my post has actually been opinion? That Amino Energy is weak compared to Friction or Jack3D? Yok3d is weak as a pump product? That Shakeology is pointless since if you pair let's say a OT or AP with a shake, you end up with a superior nutritional profile there at half the cost of Shakeology?

Yok3d is useless. The MP creatine is not bad, too expensive though. Your pw's are kind of weak. I would suggest switching between Jack3d and Friction. If you really need NO supplementation, NO Hybrid gave me good pumps. Shakeology is pointless, a good multi is far superior (1 a Day isn't very good though, bad bio availability).
