-Note: play the game without Launcher
-You can try this step to: deleting the zip file and run launcher, click update and stop update and close the launcher, now go to recycle bin and restore back the zip file and launch the launcher and click update.

What you said in the description is what worked for me: delete the zip file from Genshin Impact game folder, run the launcher, click update. Then stop the update and close the launcher, go to recycle bin and restore the zip file. Open the launcher again and click update. It should speed through the update as if doing a file transfer because it is "updating" from your existing zip file (I also deleted the temporary zip file that Genshin creates during this process, but I think it would override that anyways).

Before I succeeded using the method above I tried extracting the zip file using admin privileges. The game worked without the launcher but it failed the file integrity verification, and would not fix itself. And when using the launcher it tries to reinstall the whole update again from scratch. Glad I checked the description for the other solution. Thanks for the help!

I didn't do anything you showed me here but thanks to you I opened its folder and it started updating super fast, it updated in 57 seconds 8GB IN 57 SECONDS so thank you man!

I didn't follow the video. All I did is I went to settings then change the minimize to tray to close the launcher completely. Then you're good to go.

idk if this helps but i just put that shit in the recycle bin and it was updating after that . the zip file found in genshin impact game of course
